What we believe
Our faith is grounded in the Bible and in Jesus Christ. As a Pentecostal free church, we believe the Holy Spirit is still at work today.
God
We believe in one God, the creator of heaven and earth, who reveals himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Bible
The Bible is God’s word and the trustworthy foundation for our faith and our lives.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Through his death and resurrection, he offers forgiveness and new life.
Salvation by grace
Salvation is a gift from God. Through faith in Jesus Christ, people receive forgiveness and are reconciled with God.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is at work today, changing people and empowering them to live their faith and serve others.
Prayer
In prayer we speak with God, listen to him and trust that he meets us and works in our lives.
Baptism
Those who believe in Jesus Christ may choose to be baptised and publicly profess their faith.
Communion
In communion we remember the death and resurrection of Jesus and celebrate fellowship with him and with one another.
The church
The church is a community where people encounter God, grow in faith and care for one another.
Our hope
We believe that Jesus Christ will return and that God gives eternal life to all who trust in him.
We are a Pentecostal church within the Association of Pentecostal Churches in Germany (BFP).
